Here We Go

Going back to school in 2021, was unlike any other. We were finally ditching learning at home for desks in the classroom. Trading pajamas and fuzzy slippers for champion hoodies and new laced-up kicks. And don’t forget, recess! There was a collective sense of excitement, anticipation, and newfound appreciation for school the year. And we were never more ready. After where we’ve been through the pandemic, we didn’t just go back to school, we moved forward. So Here We Go.

This campaign was a 3-week shoot with huge list of talent and locations. And unbeknownst to me, kids bring an entirely new set of challenges to work with on set. You get a small-ish window to dial in their best performances. A little bit of rehearsal time goes a long way. And for better or worst, sometimes you get what you get… but totally genuine, and totally worth it. These kids were all true little heroes.
