JACK IN THE BOX
Jack’s Fest Art
Jack in the Box wanted to make a splash at one of the biggest music festivals of the season—Coachella. So what message could they own as a fast-food restaurant at the fest? Their menu delivers more variety than any other, allowing people to tune in to whatever mood they feel. Not only were they one of the only places open 24/7 through the weekend, they’ve always been a food haven that encourages any sort of craving you might have, from burgers to egg rolls to churros. So we catapulted this message into a series of billboards on the way to Coachella with fest-inspired art to make Jack a part of the festival culture itself.
We even got some buzz online. For a static billboard… I’d call that a success. And, we also turned these bad boys in digital wallpapers fest-lovers could download.
DIGITAL
Billboard Merch
In spite of having a media budget for only four billboards, we wanted to find a way to extend our idea and make Jack a part of festival culture all season long. So, we partnered with RAREFORM©—a sustainably-driven company that repurposes vinyl into bags—and used our own billboards to create a limited line of fest merch just as stylish and unique as every festival goer out there. These bags were lightweight, durable and water-resistant, exactly what you’d want your fest gear to be.
Our merch was featured in publications like COMPLEX magazine and StyleCaster and spread online through mega-influencer BaddieWinkle along with others, generating buzz with festival goers nationwide.
